Rapid Set Concrete (20kg)

This quick-setting concrete mix is perfect for time-sensitive projects that require rapid strength development, with two accelerating compounds that allow it to set in as little as 15 minutes. Whether you're undertaking repairs, setting fence posts, or installing pathways, our Rapid Set Concrete offers exceptional speed and reliability, with two methods of use: a dry method which has a faster set time, and a wet method that creates a stronger compressive strength.

Dry method:

Containing a unique accelerator, the product can be placed around posts with water poured on top and with no mixing required. This allows for faster placement of posts.

Wet method:

To achieve higher compressive strength, mix the concrete with water prior to placement.

Product coverage:

Each 20kg bag contains approximately 10 litres of concrete.

• 1 x 20kg bag = 0.01m3
• 100 x 20kg bags = 1.0m3
• 1 x 30kg bag = 0.0151m3
• 67 x 30kg bags = 1.0m3

Note: Use approximately two 20kg bags per post hole.

Hole size:

• Width = 2 x width or diameter of the post (100mm x 100mm post requires a 200mm x 200mm hole)
• Depth = 1/3 of the length of the post (2m post length requires hole depth of 600mm)
